25 schools sealed

GUJRANWALA: The district administration on Thursday sealed 25 private educational institutions for not following the government summer vacation schedule.

Assistant Commissioner City Attiqur Rehman and other officers visited various parts of the city and sealed 25 schools.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATES: Special children succeeded to get medical certificates after staging a demonstration against the doctors at the DHQ Hospital here. Dozens of disabled children of different schools came to the hospital for obtaining medical certificates to get scholarship from the government. When no doctor attended them for many hours, they staged a demonstration and chanted slogans against doctors.

Meanwhile, the hospital MS took notice and ordered the doctors to check the special children. The doctors checked them and issued them certificates.

BOY DIES ON ROAD: An 11-year-old boy was killed in an accident on Racecourse Road here on Thursday.

Noman was crossing the road when a speeding tractor-trolley hit him, injuring him seriously. He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital by Rescue 1122 where he died.
