Asim moves into Kent Squash Open main round

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Asim Khan qualified for the main round of $10,000 Kent Squash Open at the Mote Squash Club, Maidstone, England.

He overpowered Micah Franklin of Bermuda 14-12, 9-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-7 in 72 minutes in the qualifying finals.  He faces top seed Charles Sharpes of England in the first round.
