Islamabad: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) announced the opening of the highly anticipated photographic exhibition and book launch, ‘Blacks, Whites & Greys’, by the renowned photographer and author, Muhammad Azhar Hafeez.
This exhibition embodies the timeless adage, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, featuring a remarkable collection of images that vividly capture the diverse landscapes of Pakistan and the everyday lives of its people. Through his lens, Hafeez takes us on a visual journey that celebrates the rich beauty found in the faces and breathtaking sceneries across our nation.
In addition to the exhibition, Hafeez also launched his latest books, which include Bila Unwaan 1 & 2, photographer and Laylpurya. Many notable speakers praised talked about the works and books of Hafeez.
Spanning a career of over three decades, his work captures the raw contrasts of life, making this exhibition and book launch a significant milestone in his artistic journey. Each photograph in this collection is a testament to Hafeez's exceptional ability to convey the profound essence of Pakistan's natural and cultural heritage. The "Blacks, Whites & Greys" exhibition will be open to the public from 4 to 11 September 2024 at Gallery#1, PNCA, Islamabad.
