Level-I squash coaching course from May 27
KARACHI: Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is organising a level-I coaching course in Islamabad from May 27-30.
Khalid Atlas Khan will conduct this course and Fahim Gul will be the assessor. “I am very thankful to Asian Squash Federation (ASF) for allotting this course to Pakistan. I am also thankful to PSF for their support,” said Khalid while talking to ‘The News’.
He added that he had to complete two coaching assignments before June 30 to become the first Pakistani to achieve the certificate of WSF instructor.
“I was lucky to get allowance from Malaysian squash authorities to assist one coaching course there and I needed to conduct one course before June 30. I am very happy that my dream will come true soon,” added Khalid.
He said more than 20 players from Peshawar alone had entered their name in this course. “Local players should enter their names in this course because this will not cost them more than Rs10,000; doing such a course abroad will mean spending at least Rs200,000,” said Khalid.
After getting the certificate of WSF Instructor, he will be eligible to conduct coaching courses all around the world.
