The arrest of a young man who went missing from Karachi four months ago has now been disclosed in Hub, Balochistan.
The Hub City police station has revealed that Abu Bakr was arrested in a drug-related case. He has been accused of possessing 600 grammes of hashish.
A petition for Abu Bakr's recovery is also pending with the Sindh High Court, which has asked the relevant authorities for a response by August 21.
According to Abu Bakr’s family, he worked at a private mobile phone company's franchise. They claimed that he was taken into custody by law enforcement agencies on May 7 from the franchise. The case of Abu Bakr's disappearance was registered at Karachi's Preedy police
station.
