Student falls to death

OKARA: A student of class 9 was killed when he fell from the roof of a bus on Saturday.
Reportedly, Tayyab was returning home from his school on the roof bus (LZJ-7161). He fell from the bus when the vehicle crossed a hump and was overrun by it.
1,400 DEAD CHICKENS RECOVERED: Police recovered 1,400 dead chickens from a vehicle on Saturday.
Police at Kutchery Chowk in Depalpur pulled over a vehicle that was carrying dead chickens to Lahore for sale. Police arrested the driver and his helper and registered a case.
STRIKE ENDS: TMA Renala Khurd employees Saturday called off their strike after getting cheques for their salaries by TMA authorities. The employees resumed their routine work.
