LAHORE:Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora Friday said for the first time, the Punjab government will celebrate Minorities Day on August 11 to acknowledge their contribution to national development.
Addressing a gathering of Christian community during his visit to the residence of Pastor Shaukat Ashiq in the Chuhng here, the minister said historic work was under way for minorities. A large number of people from Christian community welcomed the minister.
