PESHAWAR: The applicants, who had qualified physical and written tests for recruitment in the Rescue 1122 in 2022, have asked the government to initiate the recruitment process.
Speaking at a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, Shaida Jan, Waseem, Sohail and others said that candidates had qualified the tests for the Rescue positions advertised in 2022.
However, they said that the earlier the Election Commission and later the chief minister had imposed a ban on recruitment which had created problems for them. They said that they had been waiting for two years to get their appointment letters, saying that recruitment in police and other departments was continuing. They said that after the ban was lifted the CM Secretariat and Finance Department were creating hurdles in recruitment. They asked the chief minister to direct the officials to start the process transparently and provide justice to them.
