Fesco SDO among five officials suspended

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) Chief Executive Officer Rashid Ahmad Aslam has suspended the Manawala SDO, line superintendent and three other officials on the charges of working on a live wire without adopting safety measures.
On information, the CEO visited 11KV Gatti feeder and suspended SDO Arslan Iqbal, LS Muhammad Saleem and three other officials for working on a live wire without safety measures and permit. The Fesco CEO said that violation of safety measures was equal to suicide and the negligence was not tolerable in any case. He said that the company was spending millions of rupees every year for the purchase of safety gadgets and every possible step was being taken for the promotion of safety culture in the company.
