6 mineral water companies sealed

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority officials Wednesday sealed six companies of mineral water operating in and around Dera Ghazi Khan.
The officials took into custody samples of the water and also wasted the stock available on the spot.
Upon the direction of the Director General of Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority Muhammad Khalid Siddique, chairman task force Abdul Ghaffar Niazi, regional in-charge Umar Farooq raided various units of the mineral water on the Jampur Road and sealed six companies on charges of providing substandard water.
They also issued warnings to a number of other companies over not fulfilling legal formalities.
