Four convicted in double murder case

GUJRANWALA: Anti-Terrorism Court No-2 Judge Bushra Zaman on Saturday awarded death sentence and life imprisonment on four counts to Yasmeen Butt and Raj Sanam in a double murder case registered with Gujrat Sadr police.
Two other accused Zulifqar and Amir were awarded life imprisonment on eight counts. The prosecution said that the convicts had killed Constable Saleem Shah and Babar Tariq over an old enmity on July 29, 2013.
GIRL TORTURED: A girl was tortured by her father and brother for not giving money to them at Kamoke.
Saba ran a sewing centre. On Saturday, her father and brother, both addict, demanded money from her. On refusal, they allegedly tortured Saba. She was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Kamoke Sadr police have started investigation.
