Punjab, KP, POF, Navy win in volleyball event

KARACHI: Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) and Navy won their matches of the Allied Bank National Volleyball Championship at Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad on Friday.
Punjab beat FATA 3-1 with the set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-17.
KP overpowered Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) 25-12, 25-23, 25-20. POF defeated Sindh 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.
Navy outclassed Balochistan with the set scores being 25-16, 25-10, 25-16.
In the last two matches on Thursday, PAF beat KP 25-22, 25-17, 25-12 and Police defeated HEC 3-1 with the set scores of 25-16, 25-27, 25-21, 25-17.
Saturday’s fixtures: WAPDA v Punjab, PAF v AJK, POF v Navy, Sindh v Balochistan, Army v HEC, Police v Railways.
