Former volleyball secretary dies

LAHORE: Former Secretary General Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Shahid Kamal passed away on Tuesday morning because of cardiac arrest.
Shahid contributed a lot to the promotion of volleyball, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The PVF chairman Muhammad Yaqoob expressed grief over the demise and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul.
POA president Lt Gen (R) Arif Hasan also expressed sorrow over the sad demise of Shahid. “May Allah Almighty in His infinite mercy shower His blessings and grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss,” he said in a statement.
