Farmers protest non-provision of gunny bags
From Our Correspondent
OKARA: Farmers of Basirpur on Saturday protested for not getting gunny bags from Shahmand wheat purchase centre to bring their wheat to the centre.
The farmers alleged that gunny bags were not issued to them to bring wheat to the centre for sale. They alleged that their names were removed from the list and the names of favorites were added to the list. They claimed that the centre’s coordinator was not available to solve their problems. They demanded the authorities take notice of the issue.
