QUETTA: Unknown armed men shot dead two persons in the Daramkol Baidarg area of the Turbat district on Monday.
According to police sources, the victims, including Muhammad Waleed and Wash Dil, were on their way when armed assailants riding a motorbike opened fire on them and fled.Both of them died on the spot. The bodies were handed over to heirs after legal formalities. The reason for the killings could not be ascertained. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Also, the Levies force recovered the body of a man from the Spain Tangi area of Harnai district on Monday.
According to Levies sources, on a tip off, a Levies force team reached the site and took the body into custody which was dumped after killing by unidentified men. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital’s morgue for identification where the body was identified as Wazir Khan, s/o Yaar Muhammad. Later, the body was handed over to the heirs. The Levies force registered a case and started an investigation.
Meanwhile, a Frontier Constabulary (FC) head clerk was shot dead by unidentified armed persons in village Kotla here on Monday. According to the Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP), Sulman Khan, unidentified gunmen entered Abdul Rasheed’s house, shot him dead and injured his son Faizan.The injured was shifted to the Oghi hospital where after initial treatment he was sent to the King Abdullah Hospital, Mansehra. Police have started a search operation.
