Two killed in shootout between two groups

GUJRANWALA: Two people were killed and as many others injured in a shootout between two groups at Naroki on Sheikhupura Road on Monday.
Some buffaloes of Arain group entered the fields of Othi group. It led to an exchange of firing between the two groups. As a result, Tanvir and Farooq were killed on the spot while Saqib and Chand received bullet injuries. The injured people were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Police have started investigations.
FIVE ACCUSED HELD: The FIA teams arrested five accused, including three proclaimed offenders, in different raids at Jhelum and Gujrat on Monday.
A team led by FIA Assistant Director Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar conducted a raid at Jhelum and arrested Imran and Adnan Kiyani involved in cases of sending people abroad through illegal documents. The team also recovered passports, visa stamps and other documents from them.
In another raid at Gujrat, the team arrested three proclaimed offenders Muhammad Younis, Amjad Hussain and Ashfaq. They were wanted by the FIA in different cases.
