Rangers personnel asked to learn latest techniques

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Rawalpindi Corp Commander Lt-Gen Malik Zafar Iqbal has asked the Jawans of the Pak Rangers to equip themselves with latest battlefield techniques to defend every inch of their motherland.
He said this while addressing the annual passing-out parade of 1,406 recruits at the Rangers Academy here on Wednesday. Lt-Gen Malik Zafar Iqbal said that the country was facing challenges from inside as well as from outside. He said that our brave army had overcome terrorists during the Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that terrorists were trying to destabilise our system. The corps commander said that protection of Pak-China Economic Corridor was our top priority. Punjab DG Rangers Maj-Gen Umar Farooq, PR Academy Commandant Col Nadeem Aslam, Pak Ranger DG PRO Muhammad Asif, press club President Muhammad Zaheer Khan and others were also present.
