‘Mobile meter reading increases Fesco revenue’

FAISALABAD: Fesco Chief Executive Officer Rashid Ahmad Aslam has said that the mobile meter reading has increased the company’s revenue.
Presiding over a meeting at the Fesco Headquarters here on Thursday, he said that the mobile meter reading had also removed consumers’ complaints regarding overbilling. He said that accuracy of mobile meter reading in the Fesco region was 95 per cent. The Fesco was the first power distribution company in the country, which had completed the mobile meter reading project, he added. The Fesco CEO said that the company would give cash prize of Rs 5,000 each to 23 best meter readers of the Fesco Faisalabad, Sargodha and Jhang circles on the basis of meter reading of the month of March.
He said that the 23 meter readers, who were selected for the prize, included Najamul Saqib of Abdullahpur division, M Iqbal of Civil Lines division, M Idrees of Jaranwala, M Imran of Chiniot, Khalid Hussain of Lalian, Nasru Minallah of People’s Colony, M Awais Samundri, M Javed of Tandlianwala, M Tariq of Ghulam Muhammadabad, M Asif of Nazimbad, M Arshad of 1st division, Nadeem Anwar of 2nd division, Nadeem Aslam of 3rd division, Niaz Ahmad of Jauharabad, Naimatullah Khan of Mianwali, Khalid Mehmood of Jhang-I, Imran Ali of Jhang-II, M Zubair of Sultan Bahu, M Shahid of TT Singh, M Shahzad of Kamalia, M Anwar of Gojra and Khurram Anees of Bhakkar division.
