Wheat crop burnt to ashes

HAFIZABAD: More than 50-acre wheat crop was burnt to ashes at Wingay Bowray village on Wednesday.
The fire broke out in the fields of local landlords including Muhammad Hanif, Khalid Hunjra, Zafar Iqbal, Riaz Ahmad and Muhammad Khan due to short circuit. As a result, 50-acre wheat crop worth lakhs of rupees was burnt to ashes. Later, fire fighters extinguished the fire.
