PTCL to make investment in Gwadar
QUETTA: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) will make massive investment in Gwadar in order to provide facilities to local and foreign investors, PTCL Business Zone South) Executive Vice President Raza Hasnain said on Wednesday.
Talking to newsmen, he said that the PTCL plans to execute infrastructure project in Gwadar in order to make investment-friendly environment for the companies.
Two major data centres of PTCL were already functioning in Lahore and Karachi, he said, adding that Gwadar telecom infrastructure would be connected with Karachi data centre.
Presently, PTCL has been running international internet cable service through four submarines under deep sea water and has planned to expand its international internet service to neighbouring countries, including China, Hasnain said.
