CHARSADDA: The police on Saturday claimed to have killed a hardened militant in an encounter in the district.
They said after receiving information about presence of militants, a police party raided an under-construction house in Hussainabad area on the Peshawar road.
They said the militant and his accomplices fired at the police party. They said the police returned the fire in which a militant identified as Farmanullah alias Farmanay was killed while his other accomplices managed to escape.
