27 arrested in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: The police on Saturday arrested 27 suspected persons and recovered arms from them during a search and strike operation in Nisatta village in the district, an official said.

Station House Officer Taimur Saleem said that the police launched the search operation against anti-social elements in Nisatta and surrounding localities and made the arrests.

He said the police also recovered 15 pistols, six rifles, one Kalashnikov and hundreds of cartridges from them.
