Plumber, sanitary course

FAISALABAD. Former Pakpattan DCO Javed Akhtar Mahmood Friday visited a centre established by an NGO where two new courses of plumber and sanitary, and fitting and tailoring are being started from May 1.
Javed lauded the working of the organisation, saying that imparting technical education to our youth was imperative and the need of the hour. He said through education we can overcome unemployment. Yawar Hussain was also present. Javed also visited various sections of the centre along with Maj (retd) Shah Nawaz. He called for extending more such facilities to the middle class students so that they can get jobs. The former DCO was informed that deserving students were being imparted training in repairing refrigerators, motor cycles, mobile phones and other sectors.
He said these students are given monthly stipend. Certificates were also awarded to students of computer class. NGO chairman Major (retd) Shah Nawaz also briefed the former DCO about the working of the organisation.
