Prof Sajida gets Lifetime Achievement Award
LAHORE: Prof Sajida Haider Vandal was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award in a literary ceremony organised by Dayal Singh Research and Cultural Forum Lahore.
The award was given on the occasion of the birth centenary celebration of eminent scholar Giani Gurdit Singh and Prof Inderjit Kaur. The event was attended by prominent literary figures, academicians and students of Government Dayal Singh College and Government Islamia College (Railway Road), Lahore. In another event organised by Canadian organisation Hardashan Memorial International Trust and Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Trust, UK, renowned Punjabi writer, novelist, travel writer, and poet Prof Aashiq Raheel was also given the Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to Punjabi language and literature.
