DDEO transferred to already occupied post
From Our Correspondent
JHANG: The Punjab Schools Education secretary has transferred Jhang Deputy District Education Officer (Elementary Women) Nasreen Abdullah and posted her against a ‘vacant’ post of DDEO at 18-Hazari tehsil.
According to a notification SO (SE-II) PF-913/2010-6, the transfer and posting orders have been issued against the vacant post with immediate effect. However, the sources said that compliance of the orders issued by the Punjab Schools Education Department had been halted because the post had already been filled in December 2015 at the district level but the same was vacant in record at the provincial level.
According to the policy, posting orders of DOs and DDOs were issued from the Punjab Schools Education Department, the sources added.
On the other hand, the Education Department spokesman said that Kot Shakir Government Girls High School Headmistress Musarrat Afza was transferred and posted as the 18-Hazari deputy district education officer (Elementary Women) vide order 4055/HC (HRM) dated 31-12-2015 issued by the Jhang DCO. He said that the matter would be submitted to the Punjab Schools Education secretary for appropriate decision and for adjustment of Musarrat Afza as the Jhang deputy district education officer (Elementary Women) that was recently vacant after the transfer of Nasreen Abdullah.
