Residents deprived of cash, valuables in 17 strikes

GUJRANWALA: Robbers and thieves took away cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in 17 hits in different areas of Gujranwala on Friday.
At Emanabad bandits snatched Rs 13,000 and a cell phone from Asad. In Dhulley dacoits snatched a new motorcycle from Khaqan.
In Sohdra robbers snatched Rs 25,000 and three cell phones from Anwar.
In Sadar police station limits gunmen snatched a new motorcycle from Moeen.
At Gakhar dacoits snatched Rs 18,000, a gold ring and a cell phone from Luqman.
Sajid was also deprived of Rs 8,000 and two cell phones in this area.
At Kot Ladha Amir was deprived of Rs 35,000, a gold chain and two cell phones.
Robbers snatched Rs 20,000 from Ahmed Qazi in Model Town police station limits.
At Garjakh police station limits thieves took away valuables from the house of Haroon.
A new car of Noman Anwar was stolen from main Bazaar Qila Didar Singh.
Thieves took away new car of Khadam Hussain from the Sheikhupura Road.
New motorcycles of Baber, Mushtaq, Qasim, Hanif, Yusuf and Asghar were also lifted from different parts of the city. Police have registered cases.
