National ranking tennis championship begins today

KARACHI: The second edition of the Modern Club Founder Members national ranking tennis championship commences at the Modern Club here on Thursday (tomorrow).
The tournament offers prize money of Rs500,000 and has been registered with the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) as Grade One tournament.
Top seed Aqeel Khan is expected to meet his younger sibling Yasir Khan, who is seeded number two in the men’s singles event.
In the ladies’ singles event, Sara Mansoor is the top seed, while Sara Mahboob is seeded second.
