5-year-old boy injured by string

GUJRANWALA: A five-year-old boy was injured when a string cut his throat on Muslim Road on Friday.
Imtiaz and his son Ghulam Muhammad were on their way on a bicycle when a stray string cut Ghulam Muhammad’s throat. As a result, he was injured and rushed to a hospital. Garjakh police have registered a case.
JAIL OFFICIALS PROMOTED: The Punjab DIG Prisons on Friday issued promotion orders of 20 officials of the District Jail Gujranwala.
The officials were promoted from warder to head warder. They included Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Ilyas, Muhammad Aslam, Sarfraz Ahmed, Muhammad Arif, Munawar Iqbal, Munir Hussain and Khalil Ahmed.
