Teachers urged to involve
students in extracurricular activities

JHANG: Government College for Women Principal Prof Abida Shahbaz has asked heads of the departments and other teaching staff to get the girls involved in extracurricular activities to make them skilled and healthier.
Addressing the department heads here on Thursday, she said that the parents should also be updated that academic and extracurricular activities complement each other and develop the overall personality of a student. She said that athletics, various in and outdoor sports, and other activities should immediately be introduced in the college on regular basis.
HOSPITAL MS TRANSFERRED: After the CM’s approval, the Health secretary has issued transfer and posting orders of the DHQ Hospital medical superintendent.
According to a notification, DHQ Hospital MS Dr Mumtaz Sial has been transferred and posted as the Toba Tek Singh DHQ Hospital additional principal medical officer while Faisalabad Allied Hospital Additional MS Dr Iqbal has been posted as the DHQ Hospital MS with immediate effect.
