26 suspects held in Faisalabad operation

FAISALABAD: Police arrested 26 suspects during a search operation here.
The police searched a number of hotels and arrested 26 suspects who were staying without having CNICs. Those arrested include Khan Ahmad, Zeeshan Shah, Sarfraz, Aziz Khan, Amanat Ali and Israr Balochi. Police have registered cases against them.
Bank guard held for murder

FAISALABAD: Samundri police arrested a bank security guard on the charge of killing a seven-year-old girl and injuring another at Chak 477/GB.
Ayesha and Tayyaba were playing near the bank when guard Asif allegedly shot at and injured them. They were shifted to the Allied Hospital where Ayesha died.
However, the accused guard said that he was checking his gun during duty when it suddenly went off. Further investigation is under way.
