Lyallpur art, literature festival from today

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad will organise the fourth Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival from March 28 to April 1.
The event will be organised under the banner of the UAF’s Senior Tutor Office. UAF Vice-Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan will inaugurate it. About 25 universities are taking part on the festival.
On March 28, Qirat, Naat and essay competitions will be held at 9am at the auditorium while the bilingual declamation initial round will be held at 3pm.
On March 29, Punjab Takarra will be held at 9am at Iqbal Auditorium, and essay competition at New Senate Hall at 9am while bilingual declamation final round at Iqbal Auditorium at 3pm and Bait Bazi contest at 3pm at New Senate Hall.
On March 30, quiz contest will be held at 9am at Iqbal Auditorium while the Model United Nations (MUN) will be held at 9am at video conference room while Bait Bazi contest will be held at 3pm at Iqbal Auditorium.
On March 31, Sufi songs contest will be held at 9am at Iqbal Auditorium, painting competition at 9am, folk dance at 12pm, drama competition at Iqbal Auditorium at 3pm and short film and documentary contest at 3pm.
On April 1, drama, documentaries and thermal photography contests will be held at 9am at Iqbal Auditorium, photography contest at New Senate Hall at 2pm and closing ceremony at 5pm.
