Faith healer kills man

GUJRANWALA: A 60-year-old man was killed by a fake faith healer to cure his illness at Kalar Abadi in Baghbanpura police limits.
Abdul Sattar had been ill for the last some months. His family contacted an alleged fake faith healer, Sain Baba, of Faisalabad district for his treatment. On Friday night, Sain Baba along with his accomplice came to the house of Abdul Sattar and closed him in a room for curing his illness. The next morning, when the family members opened the door they found Abdul Sattar dead while Sain Baba and his companion had fled. There were torture marks and burn injuries on the body of Abdul Sattar. There were also burnt coals under his charpoy. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
