If Okara DPO not transferred
Lawyers warn of spreading strike across province

OKARA: Lahore High Court Bar Association president Rana Zia Abdur Rehman, general secretary Anees Ghazi and all bar presidents and general secretaries of Sahiwal division, in a convention organised by the Okara DBA, demanded the transfer of the DPO.
They vowed to continue the strike till the acceptance of their demand. They warned of spreading the strike throughout the province if the demand was not met on March 28. Sahiwal Division Bar Association president Maqsood Ahmad Bhutta, Pakpattan District Bar Association president Malik Nasrullah Wattoo, Dibar Hussain Shakir of Pattoki Tehsil Bar Association, Pir Umar Jabir Bodla of Renala Khurd Bar Association, Murad Bhattii of Arifwala Bar Association, Farooq Khan of Chichawatni Bar Association, Mian Majid Wattoo of Depalpur Bar Association and Punjab Bar Council members Akhtar Hussain Bhatti, Ali Raza Kirman, Rao Rehmanullah and Mehr Qutab Tariq also spoke on the occasion.
