Man kills daughter in Haripur

HARIPUR: A man allegedly shot his daughter dead and injured his wife critically over a family dispute in Pind Gakhra village here on Thursday. Police in Khanpur said that Anita Bibi, 20, had got married against the will of his father. When she visited her parents, her father Azhar opened fire on her with a 30 bore pistol, killing her on the spot. Her mother sustained injuries. The dead and the injured were removed to the hospital. Police registered a case and arrested the accused.
