DASKA: Three robbers barged into a house and took away gold and valuables in the area of Motra police on Monday.

Ashiq Hussain was asleep, when the gunmen entered the house and took away cash, a cell phone and gold ornaments.

DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Circle police Monday claimed arresting four drug peddlers and recovering narcotics from their possession.

Police arrested alleged drug peddlers Waqas, Amir, Ashraf and Tariq Mahmood and recovered Rs 1,400 gram charas and four litre liquor from their possession.

GIRL SHOT AT: City police Monday registered a case against the son of the Chairman Market committee on charges of injuring a girl.

The son of Muhammad Nawaz and his accomplice allegedly opened fired at the sister of Rana Jawad and injured her. She was shifted to Civil Hospital.

CLERIC BOOKED: Sadr police booked a cleric on charges of violating loudspeaker regulations.

The police registered a case against Maulana Muhammad Ashraf of Chalakey village as he violated the loudspeaker laws.
