Killer of lawyer, driver arrested in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: The police arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the killing of lawyer Ehsan Muhammad Arain and recovered the weapon used in the crime.Spokesman for police Mazhar Shani informed on Monday that the suspect Ghulam Shabbir Mallah was arrested after a series of raids in Hyderabad and Tando Allahyar districts.

HYDERABAD: The police arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the killing of lawyer Ehsan Muhammad Arain and recovered the weapon used in the crime.Spokesman for police Mazhar Shani informed on Monday that the suspect Ghulam Shabbir Mallah was arrested after a series of raids in Hyderabad and Tando Allahyar districts. During initial investigation Mallah confessed the crime and took the police to a place in New Hyderabad City Town where he had hidden the gun, the spokesman added. The lawyer and his driver Sobho Khan Kakepoto were killed on January 1 last.
In a separate action, three suspected street criminals Sajjan Khan, Shahid Soomro and an unidentified man, who had lost consciousness after public lynching after a failed robbery bid, were arrested from Fuleli area. The suspects had allegedly robbed a pedestrian Emanuel, but people caught them and thrashed them. According to the spokesman, it was found during investigation that the suspects were involved in over 50 criminal cases.
