From Our Correspondent
MULTAN: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz activists on Friday celebrated the party victory in NA-153 by-poll.
Addressing a function at the PML-N Secretariat, former MNA Sheikh Tariq Rashid said that the by-poll victory was the result of CM Shahbaz Sharif’s commitment to south Punjab to end its deprivation. He said that the CM had executed projects worth billions of rupees to remove the sense of deprivation among the people of the area. He said that the Multan metro bus project was near completion at a cost of Rs 30 billion. He said that the metro bus system was being constructed on the pattern of the Dubai metro bus project.
The former MNA said that the CM had established Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, a 500-bed facility, in Muzaffargarh district. He said that international level medical facilities were available in the hospital without any charge. He said that the hospital would be made a model teaching hospital of the country.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, the CM had established the Ghazi Medical College, besides announcing to establish the Danish School in Taunsa Sharif, the former MNA added.
