Sargodha farmers to get subsidies

SARGODHA: For improving means of cultivation and to enhance crop production, the government will provide Rs30 million subsidy on agricultural instruments to the farmers.
Talking to media on Wednesday EDO Agriculture Muhammad Ramzan Niazi said the government wanted the farmers to use modern means of cultivation for which the subsidy of Rs30 million on agricultural equipments was available to the farmers of 121 union councils in the district.
He said provision of agricultural equipments on subsidised rates to the farmers of tehsils Sillanwali, Bhalwal, Kot Momin, Sahiwal, Shahpur, and Sargodha would help increase production.
