Liquor seized, one arrested in Haripur

HARPUR: The police recovered a huge quantity of homemade liquor from a vehicle and arrested an alleged bootlegger on Sunday.
The police said that Uzair Khan, in-charge of Hattar Police Station, along with a police party stopped a vehicle (RIS 2260) during routine checking at Dhoriyan Bridge and recovered 180 litres liquor from it.
The police have arrested one Abid Ali while his accomplice Faisal Mushtaq managed to flee the scene.
