Jashan-e-Baharan from April 1

JHANG: District Government Administrator/District Coordination officer (DCO) Nadir Chattha Friday said the Jashan-e-Baharan event will start from April 1 to 3.
Addressing a special meeting held to review arrangements of the event, Chattha directed TMA officials to launch a special drive to keep surroundings of the Mella ground neat and clean during the Jashan-e-Baharan. The meeting was attended by MNAs, MPAs, EDOs, DOs and relevant officers. The DCO called for making the best arrangements to hold animal shows, tent pegging contests, sports events, flowers exhibition, a food street and other programmes during the event. He asked all departments’ heads to extend active coordination and liaison for the arrangements of the event. The DCO told the meeting that the District Police Officer was asked to maintain foolproof security during the festival. He told the officials to make all-out efforts to make the event as the best event in the province.
