Demo against DMO
From Our Correspondent
JHANG: Monitoring evaluation assistants of the District Monitoring Department staged a demonstration against the alleged misbehavior of District Monitoring Officer Bushra Naseer outside the press club here on Thursday.
The protesting employees, including M Arshad, said that the DMO allegedly misbehaved with them during a meeting with the Education Department officials and teachers. They said that a complaint had been sent to the chief minister and other authorities for disciplinary action against the accused DMO.
When contacted, DMO Bushra Naseer said that some contractual monitoring evaluation assistants allegedly submitted fake monitoring reports of schools and health units of the district.
She said that it had been reported that some monitoring evaluation assistants pressurised the officials, including female teachers, during their field visits. In the light of increasing complaints, it was decided to proceed against monitoring evaluation assistants, she added.
