HAFIZABAD: A woman has demanded the Gepco chief executive officer make arrangements for treatment of her son, an assistant lineman (ALM), who is in critical condition in the Lahore Wapda Hospital due to alleged negligence of Line Superintendent Muhammad Ashfaq.
Talking to The News on Thursday, Assistant Lineman Gulfam’s mother also demanded special grant for her son and his family. She said that her husband had died about 16/17 years ago and Gulfam was only helping hand of her family.
The victim, Gulfam, said that Sub-Division No-2 Line Superintendent Muhammad Ashfaq allegedly asked him to work on an electricity pole at Thattha Kalian village, saying that electricity supply was closed about three weeks ago.
