Police van injures youth

BAHAWALPUR: A police van hit and injured a youth on the Bahawalpur-Yazman Road on Wednesday evening.
Muhammad Ibrar, 18, of Adda-13/Soling was crossing the road when he was allegedly hit by a police mobile van and sustained injuries. He was rushed to the BVH in a critical condition.
WATER SCHEMES: The Additional Commissioner Wednesday chaired the divisional development working committee meeting and approved seven amended water supply schemes for Cholistan desert area.
The Rs 180 million schemes are meant to provide clean water to the dwellers of Cholistan desert round the year particularly in hot weather.
The committee has also approved the construction of a wall around the residential colony of the Chinese in the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park with the cost of Rs 63.4 million.
