Demo against contaminated water

KASUR: People from different walks of life on Tuesday staged a demonstration against the TMA for allegedly supplying contaminated water to them.

The protesters were chanting slogans against the TMA. They have demanded the CM look into the matter and order the TMA to supply potable water to them.

On Monday, the water supply line mixed with sewerage, making water polluted. Dozens of people, including children, fell ill after they consumed the polluted water. They were shifted to a hospital. Meanwhile, PMA Kasur president Dr Qadoos asked the people to avoid using the polluted water.
