Sharifs got loans rescheduled: Qureshi
Alleges PML-N using state machinery in by-polls
From Our Correspondent
MULTAN: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf national organiser Shah Mehmood Qureshi has accused the PML-N of using state machinery in favour of Rana Qasim Noon, a PML-N candidate for NA-153 by-polls.
Talking to newsmen during his visit to the press club to congratulate the newly-elected body on Monday, he said that the PML-N had lost its image among masses after it issued a ticket to the turncoat. He alleged that the PML-N leadership had warned its MPAs and party workers from NA-153 of banning their entry into the Chief Minister Secretariat if they did not fully back the party candidate. Qureshi said: “Sharif brothers have got their loans rescheduled from banks.” He said that the PPP workers were annoyed with the party leadership and joining the PTI. He said that the PTI had demanded constitution of a judicial commission on Mustafa Kamal’s allegations because they were of sensitive nature.
To a question, he said that Pakistan cricket team should not go to India till assurance of foolproof security. Earlier, Multan press club newly-elected president Shakil Anjum and other office bearers received Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on his arrival at the club.
