GUJRANWALA: Three members of a family were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in their house at Tariqabad on Monday.
Bilqees Bibi was preparing food when suddenly a gas cylinder, placed in kitchen, exploded. As a result, Bilqees Bibi, her husband Khadim Hussain and daughter Khadija sustained severe burns. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital.
ASSUMES CHARGE: Capt (retd) Muhammad Asif on Monday assumed the charge as the Gujranwala Division commissioner here.
After taking the charge, heads of various departments and staff of the Commissioner Office met the commissioner and briefed him on different departmental matters.
