Tooba stars as BUMDC rout IVSAA in basketball tourney

KARACHI: Tooba Javaid’s 28 points helped Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) record a convincing 49-6 victory against Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture (IVSAA) in the AKU Inter Collegiate/University Girls’ Basketball Tournament here at the AKU Sports Centre Gymnasium.
Palwasha Khattak also played well and scored 17 points. Nixor College defeated Dow University of Health and Sciences 22-12 in the second match. Hana Raza and Maha Bhagat scored eight points each.
