HANGU: The police rounded up 65 proclaimed offenders and suspected persons during search and strikes operations in the district, an official said on Saturday. District Police Officer (DPO) Shah Nazar said the arrests were made during the month of February. He said that the arrests were made during search and strikes operations in Hangu city, Thall, Doaba and surrounding localities. He said the arrested accused included 32 proclaimed offenders, three drug traffickers and 30 suspects. He said the police also recovered 20 rifles, six SMGs, 34 pistols, two hand grenades, hundreds of cartridges and drugs from them.
