Former MNA among two booked for child labour

OKARA: Sadr police have booked a former MNA and a manager of his brick kiln under the Prohibition of Child Labour at Brick Kilns Ordinance 2016.
Police, on a tip-off, raided the brick kiln of former MNA Ch Sajjadul Hassan at Chak 5/4L where his manager Muhammad Bashir had allegedly employed children, including Ali Abbas, 7, Nasir, 9, Humera, 12, Nasira, 9 and Nabila, 6, as labourers.
