AKU girls basketball tourney commences today

KARACHI: The fifth edition of the AKU Inter-Collegiate/University Girls’ Basketball tournament starts here on Friday (today) at the AKU Sports Centre Gymnasium.
Six teams are taking part in the tournament. The teams have been divided into two pools and the round matches will be played on league basis.
Pool ‘A’ consists of Aga Khan University (AKU), Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) and Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture.
Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi Grammar School (KGS) and Nixor College are placed in Pool ‘B’.
Two matches will be played today. The inaugural match will be played between BUMDC and hosts AKU. Nixor College will take on KGS.
